After Midnight – Before Dawn
A play by David Campton, directed by Cliff Francis
Set in a 16th century prison cell on the night before the execution of 6 witches, After Midnight – Before Dawn explores the anxieties of each on their last night, and accelerates to a shocking and stunning climax when the central character declares that she will not be hanged in the morning.
The production will be performed at the Settlement on the 11th April, and will also be taken to the Sawston, Barton and Welwyn festivals – exact dates and details to be confirmed.
