Settlement Players Production of Queen Margaret opens this Friday

A play full of intrigue; murder; battles; blood; and a surprising amount of Humour.

This production follows the Wars of the Roses and Margaret of Anjou’s life in England, her arrival as a French bride, her involvement in the scheming in Henry VI’s court to her running the country, then becoming a mother and leader of the Lancastrian army.
First performed at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester, in September 2018, Queen Margaret is written by Jeannie O’Hare, using Shakespeare’s original lines alongside new text, retelling the Wars of the Roses through Margaret of Anjou’s eyes.
