About this production: Jeanie O’Hare has taken Margaret of Anjou from four of Shakespeare’s plays and retold the Wars of the Roses through her eyes.
Jeannie O’Hare has performed some cast rebalancing leading to more female roles with epic monologues, brandishing of swords and opportunities to perform iconic roles.
This play is full of intrigue; murder; battles; blood; and a surprising amount of Humour, and the cast have worked hard to make this show accessible and entertaining for all. Shakespeare is meant to be performed and enjoyed, and the audience should feel free to get involved and react, so please come and see this show. There is no history test at the end.
